| Descrição do imóvel | Château Léoville Poyferré: The Château Léoville Poyferré was also part of the Léoville’s estate, as Léoville Barton and Léoville Las Cases. The daughter of the Marquis de Las Cases ceded her part to her daughter, the wife of the Poyferré’s Baron. The Château Léoville Poyferré is on a sunny land. It is rank second on the 1855’s classification. The Cuveliers had bought the château at the beginning of the twentieth century. Now days, they remain the estate’s owners. The Cuveliers have undertaken many improvements, in order to maximize the 80 hectares’s vines, which are certainly one of the most beautiful Medoc’s lands. Château Léoville Poyferré’s wines are the least known of the three Léoville. However, the castle has the greatest growing potential. Uniquely among the Medoc’s wines, “la route des Châteaux” cut the estate in two parts, cuve and the château on one side; and offices and cellars on the other. The area also produces a second wine, Le Moulin Riche, and a third wine, Pavillon des Connétables, coming from the youngest vines. |
