LEVEL OF THE WINE’S BOTTLE The level of the wine’s bottles is changing with the time that a bottle stays in a cellar. Indeed, the micro-holes of the cork, the quality of the wine and its conservation conditions are the main elements that affect the level of the wine in a bottle. You will find below an scheme of the average level for the Bordeaux and Burgundy bottles. Nota Bene : The wines of Burgundy are less affected with the vidange level than the wines of Bordeaux.
