| Descrição do imóvel | During the seventeenth century, Pierre Desmezures de Rauzan acquired this area, which constituted, at that time, one field with Rauzan-Gassies. The wines of Château Rauzan-Ségla have always been exceptional and were enshrined in the 1855’s classification, where they were classified as "second cru classé". This is certainly one of the best second ‘cru classé’ in Médoc, today. Exceptionally, it is the only area classified in Médoc, which has fully undo a vintage, 1987, because of its poor quality. Since 1994, the Wertheimer family, also owner of Chanel, has been leading the field. They have undertaken numerous renovations. The 51 hectares also produce a second wine, le Ségla. |
