Domaine Dujac

After learning the job of wine grower at the domaine de la Pousse d’Or, Jacques Seysses decided to buy the domaine Graillet in 1967 and recalled it “Domaine Dujac”. From the beginning, he wanted to produce fine wines, bottled in the property, very rare fact at this period. After a difficult start, with the disastrous vintage 1967, the recognition of his peer grew. A 1969 Morey-Saint-Denis would be served at the Palais of l’Elysée in 1975. Back to school in 1978, he was graduated with a diploma in oenology, so that he could transmit his experience to trainees. The Domaine Dujac grew up step by step, from 5 hectares to its creation, to more than 12 now. In order to give the domaine as an inheritance, he’s helped by his wife, Rosalind, and his 2 sons: Jeremy and Alec. The Domaine Dujac proposes quality wines that reflect perfectly their original Burgundy soil. The wines express all the aromatic subtlety of the pinot noir, king grape of Burgundy. Unfortunately, and to appreciate them in their right value, it’s recommended to let them aged for a while (20 to 30 years).
